The Har-Ber Wildcats have forfeited three games of the 2018 season due to self-reported violations, the Arkansas Activities Association announced Friday.

In a statement emailed out at 7:15pm Friday, the AAA said,

Har-Ber High School has self-reported a violation of the AAA rules regarding the use of an ineligible student in three football games, that took place on September 14, October 19, and October 26. As a result, Har-Ber must forfeit their wins over Pine Bluff, Van Buren, and Rogers.

By forfeiting the three games, Har-Ber will miss the 2018 playoffs and finish the season at 2-8 and 1-6 in 7-A West play. Har-Ber lost to Fayetteville in the final week of the season 42-14. Rogers defeated Rogers Heritage 33-14, giving the 6th and final 7A-West playoff spot to the Mounties.

More information is likely to come out about the use of ineligible player by the Wildcats. Stay with Fearless Friday, Fox24 and Fox16 for more on the forfeited games as it becomes available.
