High Speed Chase Starts in Gentry, Ends in Oklahoma

A Northwest Arkansas man faces a slew of charges following a high speed chase.

Randy Buck is currently in an Oklahoma jail cell in Delaware County. According to Gentry Police the 28-year-old man was taken into custody Thursday, across the border in Oklahoma, after he was first encountered in Gentry on a shoplifting call at the Dollar General Store. Police tell us after he was confronted by authorities, Buck ran away from them, attempted to get into multiple vehicles and eventually got into a pickup truck.

Police say the chase hit speeds of up to 100 miles an hour, and caused damage in the yards of the Neighborhoods the chase went though. He currently faces charges of reckless driving, possession of a stolen vehicle, leaving the scene of accident involving damage and eluding police.
