Home Heating Tips for Winter

News

Winter is definitely here to stay for a while longer making it a good time to get your furnaces checked.

Experts say to make sure you are taking the steps needed to keep your homes warm and safe during the winter season.

They recommend changing filters because a clogged filter can prevent heat from getting into your home. They also remind you to get furnaces serviced every year, to make sure everything works correctly and smoothly.

And you can do some things at home to keep yourself safe.

“You know, they are pretty safe but there are always things that can happen and as a homeowner or working in a business or anything like that, we always recommend keeping the area around the furnace free and clear of any types of boxes or any other things like that. Buildup could become a fire hazard with some furnaces,” Curt Brodsky says.
