Hope Humane Society Sends Animals to Oregon Shelters

News

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KFTA) — Hope Humane Society loaded up dozens of animals on a flight to Oregon on Saturday, where receiving shelters are waiting for them.

The transfer is due to the Humane Society housing over 600 animals in a facility meant for significantly less.

The funding for the flight came solely from donations.

Some of the most notable sponsors include Temple Live, First Presbyterian Church and a local donor who donated in the name of his late wife Priscilla.
