Hundreds Walked out of Bentonville Schools

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) – Hundreds of students walked out of Bentonville schools Wednesday to honor mass shooting victims and protest gun violence.

Around 400 Bentonville High School students and 200 Bentonville West students participated in the walkout.

The school plans to give detention to every student who walked out. Spokesperson Leslee Wright said the disciplinary action will not start until after spring break, which is next week.
