FAYETTEVILLE, AR — If you are looking for a fun indoor event supporting a great cause this holiday weekend, we have one in mind!

Ales & Tails is happening Saturday, May 23, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Fayetteville Town Center. Rain or shine, the beer will be flowing and the crawfish will be cooking! There will be around 20 local and regional craft breweries there, as well as several Northwest Arkansas restaurants.

Chef Maudie Schmitt from Cafe Rue Orleans stopped by our KNWA/FOX 24 studios Thursday morning to talk about the organization Ales & Tails supports.

“We work with the local ALS chapter in Bentonville. We try to keep all of the money that we raise for assistive devices… Some of the devices are made in Fort Smith. When people with ALS get to the point where they can’t speak anymore, these assistive devices help them have a voice. So that’s what we’re doing it for.”

Of course, we cannot have Chef Maudie stop by and not have her cook up some crawfish! WATCH the video to see her cook up some Crawfish Jambalaya.

Tickets are still available for Ales & Tails. $55 for a single ticket and $100 for a couple. Kids 12 and under get in for free!
