The mission of the Bellaflies Foundation is to provide hope for children and families affected by pediatric strokes. The Foundation provides support to children’s hospitals, builds pediatric stroke awareness, and works to advance pediatric stroke research in medicine and testing worldwide. It was founded in memory of Isabella Cheree Paquette who went to Heaven September 17, 2011. She was 3 years, 5 months, and 3 days old. She suddenly became ill with a virus that caused massive brain swelling. That brain swelling caused her to have seizures and pediatric strokes.
