FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — The IRS extended the deadline to file taxes by a day.
The IRS experienced issues with its electronic filing and payment systems on Tuesday — which was supposed to be the deadline to file your 2017 taxes.
The agency, which was unable to process returns for several hours as a result of the outage, extended the filing deadline to April 18 at midnight.
