WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA) — A special appointed judge found four Washington County officials failed to fully comply with a Freedom of Information Act requested by Justice of the Peace Eva Madison.
Madison filed a lawsuit last week against four people after they did not respond to her FOIA request.
She attempted to ask questions about the budget proposal, including some of the departments under County Judge Joseph Wood’s supervision at a Quorum Court meeting last Tuesday.
The judge on Tuesday ordered Wood, Carl Gales, Charles Ward and Julie Harris to provide a complete response to the FOIA request within three days.
