A Kansas City Royals star pitcher will take the mound with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals this Saturday.
Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy is expected to make a MLB rehab start with the Naturals on Saturday against the Springfield Cardinals, according to a Naturals news release.
The Royals are the parent club of the Naturals.
The game will be played at Arvest Ballpark and start at 6:05 p.m. Gates will open to the public at 4:05 p.m., according to the news release.
Duffy, 30, has been part of the Royals’ rotation since the 2011 season.
“His best season for the Royals was in 2016 when the California-native struck out 188 hitters in 179.2 innings while going 12-3 with a 3.51 ERA,” the news release states.
Gates at Arvest Ballpark will open to the public at 4:30 p.m. for Princess & Cowboy Night featuring an in-game Easter Egg Hunt as well as a Bullpen Craft Beer Bar Happy Hour from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
