World Down Syndrome Day is March 21. The day was chosen to reference the three copies of the 21st chromosome that individuals with Down syndrome have.
The Down Syndrome Connection of Northwest Arkansas (DSNWA) will be selling custom socks to raise awareness for ‘Rock Your Socks.’ The socks are $20 for adults and $10 for children and available by clicking HERE.
The organization will also host the “Respect Run & Inclusion Walk” to be held on October 13 at the Arvest Ballpark in Springdale.
