LeFlore County man in jail following standoff with deputies

A man is behind bars in LeFlore County following a standoff with deputies on Wednesday.

The standoff happened just before 4:30 p.m. in Wister, Okla. 

Deputies went to serve Paul Woolery with a protective order when they say Woolery threatened to blow up his house and shoot them.

Woolery was arrested. He’s being held at the LeFlore County Detention Center on several charges, including  assault on a police officer.
