Legislator Behind ‘Campus Carry’ Law to Seek Reelection

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Rep. Charlie Collins, R-Fayetteville, the legislator behind this year’s campus carry law, has announced he’ll seek reelection. 

Collins represents House District 84, which includes east Fayetteville, Greenland and Black Oak. 

The Republican has been in the Arkansas House of Representatives since 2011. 

Democratic challenger Adrienne Kvello announced her bid to take Collins’ seat in November 2017.
