BELLA VISTA, Ark. (KNWA) — The Dairy Queen in Bella Vista was struck closed Sunday because of a lightning strike.
The owners Tom and Jana Joslin posted on Facebook to answer questions as to why their Dairy Queen was closed Sunday.
“Early yesterday morning our store was hit by lightning,” they said. “It came in through the Cox Cable line. In doing so, it literally fried all the computers, monitors, printers and registers.”
The Joslins said their team was up all night running new lines to everything. They said they are open and have registers going, but have no monitors, so they are having to use old methods.
“Things will be a tad slow but we hope to have monitors up tomorrow,” they said. “Come see us, and thank you for your patronage and concern. We appreciate you all.”
