The Lights of the Ozarks are giving their final goodbye for the holiday season.
Fayetteville Parks and Recreation workers have begun taking down the lights around the Fayetteville Square.
While many may be sad to see them go, they’ll be back next year.
For now, crews are bundled up to bear the cold to remove the lights.
“Right now, it’s really cold so it’s kind of hard for us. We have to be covered up. We have to do our best and it has to be done, so we have to do it,” said Hugo Calderon with Parks and Recreation.
The crews started yesterday and anticipate having all the lights off the square in a few weeks.
