Your kids might play them, but what if they actually got to make them? Video games, that is.
The Fab Lab in Fayetteville is hosting a class to teach kids how to create a video game from scratch. The goal is for kids to learn computer skills that will make them more employable in the future.
The class will also help in the kids’ current, everyday lives.
“The student says, ‘that’s good, but I can do better,'” said Fab Lab CEO, Steve Clark. “They have that realization that they can have continuous improvement in their life based on what they want to investigate, what they want to know, and what they’re willing to work to prepare.”
Classes will be every Thursday until April 4th, except March 21st, the week of spring break. Registration is $120 for the entire six-week course and there are payment plans available. Click here to register.
