Young women are learning how to build success through the game of golf.
First Tee of Northwest Arkansas hosted the “Tee Up Your Future” expo in Bentonville.
It was a way to show young ladies how to build confidence and a successful career based on nine core values.
Around 600 junior high and high school girls from all over the region attended.
Executive Director Elizabeth Prenger hopes the young ladies left the conference with some important lessons.
“Just strive for your goals you can do it,” Prenger said. “You have the confidence, you have the support of those around you like organizations like the First Tee and other programs. So whatever your dream is, go after it .”
Top performing women from Walmart, JB Hunt and Tyson spoke at the event and gave insight on their personal success stories to inspire the young ladies.
