Local Law Enforcement Officers Teamed-Up With Walmart to Promote Children’s Safety

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office helped create fingerprints for kids of all ages to make sure they have a form of identification.

The Rogers Police Department stepped up to help as well by performing car seat checkups for parents to ensure children’s safety when traveling.

“There’s no such thing as a 100 percent guarantee in life, and even if seats are installed 100 percent perfect even if you’re in an accident, there’s a chance there could be an injury,” Rogers Police Department Public Information Officer, Keith Foster said. “But studies show that when car seats are installed correctly, it greatly reduces the chances of injury.”

All of this comes as a part of ‘Walmart’s Baby Saving’ event.

On February 23, Walmart had a special ‘Baby Savings Day Event’ with special deals on baby products in stores.

They also have some baby deals online through Thursday, February 28.

There are many stores throughout the country that are participating including most of the stores in NWA.
