Malfunctioning Alarm Leads to Pea Ridge School Evacuation

UPDATE (1 p.m.): 

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — No injuries resulted from the evacuation. The call was generated by a malfunctioning fire alarm, according to the Pea Ridge Police Department. 

ORIGINAL STORY: 

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Pea Ridge Intermediate School was evacuated on Thursday afternoon, officials say. 

A commercial fire alarm was triggered at the school, according to Benton County dispatchers. 

Fire crews have been sent to the school at 1442 N. Davis St.
