Police in Fort Smith have made an arrest regarding the suspicious death of an 18-month-old baby girl.
Tyree Williams and the baby’s biological mother took her to the hospital on Tuesday. Doctors attempted to resuscitate the baby but were unsuccessful.
At the time, Williams was arrested on unrelated warrants but after a second interview police are charging him with first degree murder.
Williams is being held at the Sebastian County Jail without bond.
