Man Gets 20 Years After Pleading Guilty to Elm Springs Walmart Shooting

A Springdale man was given 20 years in prison for a shooting at the Walmart on Elm Springs.

Geovanny Perez-Cruz, 18, pleaded guilty to first degree battery after a shooting at a Walmart injured one man. In October, police responded to a shooting after the victim went inside the Walmart for help.

The victim, Daniel Luna, said he was shot after being involved in a verbal confrontation.
