Man Sentenced for Negligent Homicide in Rogers

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA) — A Centerton man who pleaded guilty to negligent homicide last September has been sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Rogers police said 23-year-old Mitchell Cameron Ramsey was involved in a crash that left one man dead. 

A blood test later revealed Ramsey had a blood alcohol content of .201, according to authorities. 

Officers then learned he was driving on a suspended license at the time of the crash.

Ramsey was sentenced Thursday in Benton County.
