A man has been found guilty of video voyeurism in Washington County Circuit Court.
Jeremy Scott Godfirnon, 44, was found guilty on multiple counts of video voyeurism and was sentenced to four years in prison, and two years suspended.
Godfirnon pleaded guilty to the charges on Tuesday, January 8.
Fayetteville police arrested Godfirnon in March. Godfirnon hid an iPhone with the “Pocket Spy” app enabled in a restroom where he was installing light fixtures.
Godfirnon confessed to police, saying he hid the phone inside a box in the bathroom to record employees. He said he placed the box with other equipment inside the employee restroom.
Godfirnon told police he was having a “weak moment” when he hid the phone in the restroom.
