Marco Rubio tackles the tone of the republican presidential primary, as a man accuses him of breaking up his relationship, just by being Rubio.
The supposedly, broken-hearted boyfriend interrupted the republican presidential candidate’s campaign event north of Orlando by accusing the Florida senator of stealing his girlfriend in New Hampshire.
Rubio responded with an indirect jab at challenger Donald Trump, telling the crowd “we don’t beat up hecklers at our events.”
“All right that’s enough, I have to tell everyone the truth. Marco Rubio is trying to steal my girlfriend. He did! They met in New Hampshire and she doesn’t look at me the same way anymore… He tried to steal my girlfriend. He’s a little bit better looking than me, but it’s true he’s trying to steal my girlfriend,” said the audience member.
The crowd responded by chanting “Marco, Marco!”
Security escorted the man out and Rubio got back to business.
