The owner of a local furniture store is speaking out after customers claim Mason’s Furniture did not follow through with hundreds of dollars worth of orders.
Makayla Mason, the owner of Mason’s Furniture in Springdale, posted on Instagram saying in part, “unfortunately enough, no one has even the slightest clue of what has actually occurred. With that being said, I’ve been advised by my attorney to not make a public statement until being advised to do so. I won’t lie, this is one of the hardest battles I’ve ever had to overcome.”
We have reached out to Mason multiple times and have yet to receive a response.
In our investigation, we uncovered Mason’s cut off all communication with its customers and did not follow through with hundreds of dollars worth of orders before filing for bankruptcy.
Our Kelly O’Neill spoke with some of the people victimized by the store in an in-depth report. After that story aired, Sam’s Furniture in Springdale reached out to make it right for those Mason’s customers who are now out hundreds of dollars.
