LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Should Arkansans be concerned about the rise in the number of measles cases in the U.S.?
That’s one of the questions we asked Dr. Gary Wheeler, Chief Medical Officer for the Arkansas Department of Health.
Appearing on KARK’s digital-only Newsfeed Now program Thursday, Dr. Wheeler gave some insight on the fact that U.S. measles cases are at the highest number on record since the disease was declared eliminated nationwide in 2000.
Watch the attached video to hear what Dr. Wheeler had to say about growing concerns.
