Mother of Possible Double Homicide Suspect Considered Missing & Endangered

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA) — Police are searching for a missing and endangered woman who is the mother of a man who is a possible suspect in a recent double homicide.

Fort Smith police are attempting to locate 43-year-old Angela Shores, the mother of 19-year-old Lewis Shores, who is being investigated in connection to the deaths of Jimmy and Norma Grubb, an elderly couple who were found dead inside a Fort Smith home in the 7700 block of Hermitage Drive on Tuesday.

Lewis Shores was captured during a manhunt Wednesday.

Detectives with the Fort Smith Police Department have been attempting to contact Angela Shores but have not been able to find her.

Angela Shores is believed to suffer from a mental disability.
