Donald Trump pulled of a “W” in the Nevada caucus on Tuesday.
The state has been considered the “wild-west of politics” for a long while. The money was on Trump ahead of the state’s GOP Presidential caucus with the odds in his favor before the results came in. So the real fight was between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio for second place.
“We ran with young, we won with old, we won with educated, we won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated,” said Trump after the win.
(Ted Cruz) “We are one step closer to turning the the pages on the failures on the Obama-Clinton disaster,” commented candidate Ted Cruz.
Marco Rubio touted his establishment-candidate identity as a critical point for a general election win.
As the republicans watched the Nevada results roll in, Democrats hit them on the issue of race at CNN’s South Carolina Town Hall. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton will face off Saturday for that primary.
