SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA) — A new Dairy Queen opened in Springdale on Monday.
A ribbon cutting was held at the new restaurant on West Sunset Avenue Monday morning. The event was hosted by the Springdale Chamber of Commerce, and the first 100 people were eligible to win free Dairy Queen for a year.
“The community here already is a Dairy Queen fan and that’s what we search for is the fan base and that’s what’s made it a success in the past. We feel like this is probably the best locations to start with,” said Fred Asarisi, operations director for Dairy Queen.
Asarisi said that there could be ten more Dairy Queen restaurants built in Northwest Arkansas in the future.
