Northwest Arkansas is not the only area in the Natural State where filmmakers are creating movies.
Actor David Arquette is one of the actors in a movie titled, “12-Hour Shift.”
It is being filmed at the Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro.
Arquette is married to Arkansan Christina McLarty who is producing the film, and Jonesboro native Tara Perry is also in the film.
Governor Asa Hutchinson made Jonesboro the perfect location for filming.
“He understands the importance of the film industry and what it can bring to a community,” said Arquette.
He added that “12-Hour Shift” is just the beginning of a larger effort to have more movies filmed across the state and Arkansas gives incentives to bring productions crews here.
