Fayetteville’s Board of Education voted unanimously Thursday to approve a new executive director of secondary education for Fayetteville Public Schools.
Dr. Kristina Hudson will be taking over the position, according to a press release.
Hudson served as an assistant principal at Ramay Junior High since 2017.
Former executive director Dr. Mark Oesterle recently resigned from the position after he was arrested on suspicion of three counts of second-degree sexual assault, according to the arrest warrant dated March 28.
Oesterle was taken into custody again Wednesday night on a harassment complaint. He was booked and released at the Washington County Detention Center.
Police have not given any details on his arrest.
