On Newsfeed Now for Feb. 25, we recapped deadly weekend weather for parts of the south. Cleanup continues in  Mississippi where one was killed in a tornado. In Tennessee, heavy rain triggered a rockslide that shutdown a stretch of interstate in Nashville. WJTV’s Alex Love and WKRN’s Chris Bundgaard joined us.

From there we took you to Mobile, Alabama for the story of some terrifying moments after a parade ended and there were gunshots fired that wounded two children. WKRG’s Nicolette Schliesman shared the story with us.

Then, a man who had been living on the streets of downtown Little Rock, Ark. is homeless no more. He’s been reunited with his family in Illinois thanks to some good Samaritans. KARK’s Michael Esparza gave us details of the happy homecoming for a man whose family thought he was dead.

And finally, a quick recap of Sunday’s Academy Awards show with a focus on the performance of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper of their Oscar winning song from “A Star is Born.”
