NEW YORK CITY — According to the NFL vice president of officiating, the point after attempt (PAT) will be undergoing a drastic change next season.
Starting in the 2015 season, the snap for a PAT will be at the 15-yard line, Dean Blandino said. Traditionally, the snap would be at the 2-yard line.
The two-point try will not change and stays at the 2-yard line. The defense can return a turnover for two extra points.
