The Coast Guard Auxiliary In Northwest Arkansas said it will not be reimbursed for its emergency duties due to the partial government shutdown.

A coast guard member tells Fox 24 water patrols, search and rescue efforts, and travel orders are reimbursable activities that are suspended.

The auxiliary said it’s still busy during the shutdown.

Its members have been conducting telephone meetings, online training, and planning efforts for the year’s activities.
