Ischemic Heart Disease also known as Coronary Artery Disease is a condition caused by the reduction of blood flow to the heart muscle due to plaque build up in the arteries that supply the heart.

The common symptoms of Ischemic Heart Disease:
- Chest Pain – can be anywhere in the chest.
- Pain in the jaw.
- Pain between the shoulder blades.
- Pain down the arms.
- Shortness of breath
Symptoms are usually exacerbated by physical activity or at times by emotional stress.
