NWA Children Find Their Puppy Hanging From Noose

News

A disturbing case of animal abuse was reported by a woman in Monte Ne who said she found her 10-month-old puppy hanging from a noose in her neighbor’s yard.

Paula McNeil said it was her kids who found the puppy, named Chevy, after it wandered and went missing on Tuesday.

The dog was a beagle mix and loved by the entire family.

McNeil filed a police report, but does not know who killed the animal.

“Somebody had hung him up there and killed him, and my kids are destroyed. Why would someone do that to Chevy,” Paula McNeil asked.

McNeil is pleading for anyone with information about the crime to come forward.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office officials say they are investigating the case.

Anyone who has information on who killed Chevy is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (479) 271-1011.
