FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) – A local shelter is working to make sure those who stay with it have something to zip up and carry out the front door when they get back out in the world.
The Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter is working to collect luggage and bags for its residents.
The shelter said kids come with all of their belongings packed into things like garbage bags or grocery sacks. So when they leave, the shelter wants them to leave with dignity.
The shelter is currently in need of new or very gently used luggage that can carry all of those things. For more information, call 479-795-2417.
