Northwest Arkansas’ largest running event returns for the 9th Annual Run Bentonville Half Marathon Saturday, March 30. More than 3,000 participants are expected to compete in the Half Marathon, Relay, and 5K race.
The weekend festivities kick off with the Health and Wellness and Packet Pickup Friday, March 29.
From 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. at Record in Downtown Bentonville, racers can pick up their packets for all races. The Health and Wellness Expo will feature several of the event sponsors along with leaders in the local health and wellness field.
The Run Bentonville Half Marathon, Relay, and 5K will begin at 7 Saturday morning and end in front of the historic Walton Five & Dime on the Downtown Square.
At the end of the 13.1 mile (21.08 km) run, there will be fun for family members and spectators to enjoy including live music from the band, Dial Up!.
Several road closures will be in effect starting at 6:30 a.m. and will reopen as soon as runners are clear.
