Two women came forward and reported that a Northwest Arkansas man sexually assaulted them when they were young. That man is now behind bars.
Patrick J. Doyle, 59, was arrested on suspicion of rape and booked into the Benton County Detention, according to a probable cause affidavit.
A woman in her twenties contacted Centerton police and said that Doyle sexually assaulted her on several occasions starting in the 1990s. She said the sexual assaults began when she was a young child, according to the affidavit.
The woman said the earliest incident occurred in Washington County, but frequent sexual assaults occurred in Centerton. She said Doyle forced her to perform oral sex on him and that he performed oral sex on her. She also said that he forced her to watch child pornography, according to the affidavit.
The woman said Doyle stopped sexually assaulting her when she became a teenager, the affidavit states.
The woman said she is in counseling because of Doyle frequently sexually assaulting her, the affidavit states.
A relative of the woman’s spoke to detectives and said the woman spoke about Doyle sexually assaulting her when she was younger, according to the affidavit.
The relative told detectives about seeing child porn on Doyle’s computer years before. The relative also said that Doyle gave a sex toy to a different young girl, the affidavit states.
The woman told police that when she was younger, she heard of another girl who said Doyle had sexually assaulted her, according to the affidavit.
Detectives spoke with the girl that the woman and her relative mentioned in the previous interviews. That girl is now a grown woman in her twenties, the affidavit states.
The second woman said that Doyle fondled her genitals when she was younger. The woman said she did not remember Doyle giving her the sex toy that the first woman’s relative mentioned, the affidavit states.
The second woman also recalled an incident when Doyle penetrated her with his fingers while she was taking a nap, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit did not provide details on where authorities located and arrested Doyle.
