NWA Search and Rescue Teams Need Volunteers


FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Emergency response teams need help, and no experience is needed.

Both Washington County and Benton County search and rescue teams are looking for volunteers.

The teams help locate missing persons, whether on land or water.

Benton County’s unit only has 20 members right now. Washington County currently has about 48 volunteers but is always looking for extra eyes.

Anyone who is at least 18 years old can apply for Benton County Search and Rescue here. Volunteers can apply for Washington County here
