Orman Leads Webb in Bentonville Mayor Race

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KFTA) — Stephanie Orman is leading opponent Jim Webb in the runoff election race for Bentonville mayor.

A not yet complete Benton County vote count shows that Orman, a current Bentonville City Council member, is leading Webb, a former council member, with 1,786 votes to Webb’s 1,052 votes.

Orman and Webb went into a runoff election after a close general election in which Orman claimed 40 percent of the vote and Webb 42 percent. The general election Bentonville mayor race included three other candidates: Terry Shannon, John A. Skaggs and Charlie Turner.
