(KTVE) — The Arkansas mother and father whose newborn baby suffered more than 100 rat bites have pleaded guilty.
Erika Shyrock and Charles Elliott were in court Thursday morning.
Both Shyrock and Ellion pleaded guilty to permitting abuse to a minor.
The other charge they were facing, endangering the welfare of a child, has been dropped.
The child has been adopted out.
Shyrock and Elliott have both been sentenced to five years in prison.
