Park Redesign Unveiled in Rogers

News

ROGERS, Ark. (KFTA) — A new park was unveiled Tuesday night in Downtown Rogers.

An architect group from Chicago has been gathering feedback from the community all year for the redesign of Frisco Park.

Ben Cline, public relations manager for the City of Rogers, said he’s proud this new addition reflects the wants of the people he represents.

“Every time we see a new project come in we say this is the shot in the arm until we see the next one, with the 1907, the new restaurants, the renovated buildings and now the new park. So really the momentum is already started in downtown Rogers,” Cline said.

The redesign was made possible by a grant from the Walton Family Foundation’s Northwest Arkansas Design Excellence Program.

Rogers was awarded the grant in late 2017.
