Parker & Pagnozzi Join Forces Creating Pagnozzi-Parker Charities

News

FAYETTEVILLE, AR, February 5, 2019 – Fayetteville native and former Arkansas Razorback Blake Parker is joining forces with Tom Pagnozzi and his charitable organization to assist underprivileged children in Northwest Arkansas.  Parker, now a relief pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, is a firm believer in the importance of team sports participation in lives of children.  He and his wife, Jordan, are currently living and raising their family here in Northwest Arkansas during the off season which will allow them to be an active part of the organization.

Over the next few weeks, Pagnozzi Charities will be undergoing a re-branding campaign beginning with a name change from Pagnozzi Charities to Pagnozzi Parker Charities.  This re-branding will also include changes to website, logos, and the renaming of a few programs, however the mission and purpose of the organization will remain the same.

“My family and I are honored to be a part of this organization and are excited to give back to the community that has given me so much.  Our hope is that Pagnozzi Parker Charities will continue the great work for which it’s known and create a legacy serving Northwest Arkansas youth.”, said Blake Parker.

“I’ve been planting the seed for this partnership with Blake for a few years now and am excited that he has decided to come on board and make it official.  I feel like he will bring new visibility to the organization allowing us to assist even more children in Northwest Arkansas.  He has experienced first-hand the important life skills that can be learned through team sports and will be a great role model for all the children we assist.”, said Tom Pagnozzi.

Pagnozzi Charities was formally founded in 1999 by former St. Louis Cardinal and University of Arkansas Razorbacks alumni and coach, Tom Pagnozzi. Since it’s conception in 1999, the organization has helped more than 13,000 local, underprivileged youth (K-8th grade) play sports. In 2018 alone, Pagnozzi Charities provided assistance to 1,057 children which helped pay for equipment purchases, registration and program fees, and game tickets to NWA Naturals baseball games and events.  Pagnozzi Charities is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
