FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Personal income growth has slowed in The Natural State, with farming taking a downturn.
Lower prices for grains and other crops slowed down the largest part of Arkansas’ economy.
The Bureau of Economic Analysis says while the state still saw growth, it was over two percent less than the first quarter of 2017.
Some farmers said their crops were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
