Police Investigating Burned Body Found in South Fayetteville

University of Arkansas police are investigating a burned body found on undeveloped university property Tuesday morning.

According to Captain Gary Crain, the body of a man was discovered just before 8:00 a.m. in a clearing near 19th Street and South School Avenue. Police said homeless people often camp out in this area.  

Crain said the body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine a cause of death.
