Three people were arrested and several items were seized after a drug bust in Springdale.
Law enforcement served a search warrant to a residence in Springdale. When officers entered the home, 20-year-old Rebecca Long and 23-year-old Daniel Lane were inside. Officers search and recovered 13.4 pounds of marijuana, 237 Oxycodone pills, 28 Vyvanase capsules, 4 Oxycontin pills, 10 Alprazolam pills, 29 Methadone, a vacuum sealer, 14 firearms and $10,820.
Police allowed Long to call her father, 71-year-old Vaughn Long, and told him what was going on. Vaughn Long arrived at the residence and told officers he knew about what was inside of the home and wanted to take all the charges if his daughter could go free. Lane told police he knew about the marijuana and said he smoked it for “medical purposes” but did not sell it.
All three were arrested on Tuesday and face multiple drug-related charges including possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
