KNWA/Fox 24 —  A closer look at a timeline of events from police reports concerning Josh Duggar, star of TLC’S “19 Kids and Counting.”

The following is according to police reports, obtained by Intouch Weekly. You can read the full reports HERE.

The Duggars were scheduled to appear on the Oprah Winfrey show in December of 2006. A HARPO staff member received an email saying Josh Duggar had molested young girls and that his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle covered it up. The email was forwarded to a child abuse hotline and their appearance on the show was cancelled.

While still in Chicago for the show taping, a detective from the Springdale Police Department contacted the Duggars and requested the come in for an interview.

On December 12, Jim Bob, Michelle and Josh Duggar were interviewed by Springdale police. Jim Bob said he was aware of incidents of molestation in March of 2002, July of 2002 and March of 2003.

In March 2003, Jim Bob met with church elders and told them what was going on. A treatment program was recommended.

Jim Bob told authorities Josh was sent to a christian center in Little Rock from March 17 to July 17, 2003. However, Michelle Duggar told police it was not “really a training center,” that Josh did not receive counseling, but that Josh was helping a “guy they know” remodel a building.

Jim Bob also told the detective he had reported the abuse to Corporal Joseph T. Huchtens with Arkansas State Police in 2003 who gave Josh a “stern talking to,” and said because they had put Josh through a treatment program there was nothing else to do.

Also in December of 2006, multiple girls were interviewed by police who recounted what had happened to them.
