Police Seize 37 Pounds of Cocaine in Crawford County


Arkansas State Police (ASP) arrested two men from California who were trafficking cocaine.

Stephen Cox, 56, and Scott Green, 40, were arrested and face charges of trafficking cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Arkansas State Police seized approximately 37 pounds of cocaine from the individuals.

The Drug Task Force (DTF) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) assisted ASP with the investigation. The 12th/21st District Drug Task Force consists of investigators from Fort Smith Police Department, Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office and Greenwood Police Department, along with investigators from Sebastian and Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Both Cox and Green are being held in the Crawford County Jail.
