Police caught a bank robbery suspect after he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Eureka Springs police said that Hunter Chafin robbed a bank on October 14th. They contacted Bentonville police and said they knew the suspect took a taxi from Eureka Springs to an address in Bentonville.

Police said that they were able to track him through the taxi’s GPS.

Chafin went to the address to buy a motorcycle not realizing the father of the man he bought the bike from was a police officer, and was in the house at the time. Although Chafin had already left, once notified police were looking for him, that officer was able to quickly track Chafin down and arrest him.
